Who am I?

that's me

Hi, I’m Mira, the creatress behind dear miraverse. Since I was a child, I've yearned to create a truly unique life for myself, but many obstacles held me back. I struggled with my hypercreative mind, which loves diving into countless pursuits. Finding the right work and a way of living that doesn't burn me out but deeply nurtures my body, mind, and soul was a real challenge. Along my journey, I've learned so much and now feel ready to share it with you! I grew up in a creative home full of colors, as the daughter of two teachers. While others at school were content with surface-level interests, I was always drawn to deeper, more meaningful pursuits. Music and singing became my main focus in high school, but despite my artistic leanings, I chose to study economics to better understand the changes I wanted to make in the world. However, I soon realized that university wasn't pragmatic enough for me, so after earning my bachelor's degree, I decided to pursue only education that I found truly beneficial, regardless of the diploma. I completed the Ecovillage Design Education (EDE), learning about alternative ways of living. This was followed by an education in integral peace work, mediation, and intrinsic motivated learning. I founded my own small women's community in the Swiss countryside, where we explored creating an abundant, sustainable life. Concurrently, I worked at an alternative school where children could learn freely and peacefully. After that, I completed an education in Permaculture Design, learning about creating regenerative cycles, and joined a consultancy company that helps organizations implement self-organization through Holacracy. My systemic and structural thinking was profoundly enhanced in this environment, where I could be fully present. While I loved the work, the remote nature of the job didn't suit my body’s need for more physical interaction, so I decided to quit and leap into the unknown. At that point, I had been nurturing my music project, Mira Lora, for several years, supported by a manager and professional structures. Yet, something held me back from fully surrendering to my artistic path on a professional level. Then, on her birthday, my mom sat me down and shared a powerful message. She told me I would be the fourth generation of women in our family who didn’t live their musical dreams to the fullest. She encouraged me to break that cycle and truly pursue my passion. This conversation marked the beginning of an extraordinary artistic journey. With the support of these women behind me, I faced and overcame many fears and obstacles and began to redesign my life on all levels. Along this journey, I learned to accept that music is just one facet of my creative expression and that I can use all my experiences as resources to build a completely unique life. This realization didn't come solely from my mind; it emerged largely through reconnecting with my body, childhood, and depth, where I discovered that wholesome, authentic creativity underpins everything I do. I am immensely passionate about exploring, discussing, and nurturing creativity, while supporting others on their creative journeys toward deep authenticity. Many artists, myself included, often drain themselves in their creative process, believing it to be the norm. However, I am convinced there is a more holistic approach, one where we connect to our natural purpose and create in harmony with our inner rhythms and the cycles around us. By embracing this path, we can use our creativity to enrich the planet, leaving it more vibrant and alive than we found it, instead of depleting ourselves and our beautiful Earth, which we are fortunate to call home.
